 It is worth noting that audio of "30000 Megatons" was technically released two months ago via the band's Soundcloud page, while the accompanying video above was released roughly 24 hrs ago. The band has certainly not been one to shy away from the 'music video' format. However, these two videos released less then a week apart from another; would seemingly suggest they may well have fully embraced the medium. It is also worth noting that while this was a debut cover of the song, it wasn't Umphrey's first time covering Sturgill Simpson. While technically, perhaps better categorized as more of a "nod". On 10/21/16 at The Fillmore in Philadelphia, PA, the band played ua semi irregular cover of the Nirvana song "In Bloom", but rather then their usual Nirvans take, they opted for a take on the song "in the style of  Sturgill Simpson'".
